I don't like the restaurant but I like the food. When Angelika closed I (and others) hoped Souen would be a suitable replacement. No way! The waiters are unfriendly, it's noisy even when there are very few people and the sign outside is easy to miss. But, as I said, the food is good so I'll continue to order food.

I admire Souen 6th Street for continuing to offer high quality food in the Souen tradition after the criminal closure of the Soho restaurant! It really is the healthiest restaurant food in New York City.
Delivery was perfect and all items in order and well-packed.

The soup arrived quickly. It was hot and delicious. This is a very filling meal and organic too! I definitely recommend the soup. Ive had the salmon and curry before and they are great too.

I adore Souen. Ive been ordering the same thing - the tahini miso - for years now and it almost never disappoints. Its delicious, filling and healthy (I hope!).

I love this place . Great macrobiotic food! I was surprised that the noodles were $5 since they are inky $2 when you order in.
